{"id":3775,"date":"2016-10-07T09:43:30","date_gmt":"2016-10-07T09:43:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.poggi-avocats.com\/?p=3775"},"modified":"2016-10-07T09:43:30","modified_gmt":"2016-10-07T09:43:30","slug":"digital-republic-act","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.poggi-avocats.com\/en\/loi-republique-numerique","title":{"rendered":"Law for a Digital Republic"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Adoption of the Law for a Digital Republic by the Senate<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On 28 September, the Senate adopted the draft law for a digital Republic.<\/p>\n<p>By adopting this law, the government wanted to achieve two major objectives:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><em>\"To give France a head start in the digital field, whether in infrastructure, in data, with the implementation of real data strategies by businesses and administrations, or in the digital transformation of the economy.<\/em> \"<\/li>\n<li><em>\"Adopt a modern approach to the digital age, based on people - users, entrepreneurs, public officials, consumers, \"makers\" - and on the multitude of these people to strengthen their power to act and their rights in the digital world\".<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To meet these objectives, the Act is divided into three areas:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>promote the circulation of data and knowledge,<\/li>\n<li>working to protect individuals in the digital society<\/li>\n<li>guaranteeing digital access for all<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>For further information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.republique-numerique.fr\/pages\/expose-des-motifs\">Government explanatory memorandum<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.senat.fr\/petite-loi-ameli\/2015-2016\/744.html\">Bill adopted<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Senate adopts the Bill for a Digital Republic On 28 September, the Senate adopted the Bill for a Digital Republic.
